        A parody of the ‘Halloween party’ by Agatha Christie.

Na salę wchodzą goście, otrzymują słodkości i zajmują miejsca.
Na scenę wchodzi czarodziej, widzi pojemnik z wodą przygotowany na Halloween.
Bierze do ręki Jack-O’-Lantern. Rozglądając się mówi:


                                                       SCENE I

WIZARD-  It’s so dark and scary here! What’s going on? There’s a bucket of water
                    in the middle and .....

Na scenę wbiegają dzieci krzycząc, w oddali słychać muzykę.

STUDENTS- It’s a Halloween party tonight!

STUDENT 1- Today is the thirty first of October.
STUDENT 2- And what then?
STUDENT 3- Ghosts and witches are riding on broomsticks.
STUDENT 4- Can’t you see. There are lots of guests at the party.
STUDENT 5- Let’s take a bag to play ‘Trick or treat’ on them.

Dzieci wchodzą na widownię i zbierają słodkości. Jeśli ktoś nie ma, zostaje pomalowany szminką przez dzieci. W czasie tych czynności dzieci wołają ‘Trick or treat’.
 
Na scenę wchodzi chórek śpiewając piosenkę:

‘THE MUFFIN MAN’ ( tapescript- Your English ABC part III p. 32)

                    Do you know the muffin man,
                   The muffin man, the muffin man,
                   Do you know the muffin man,
                   Who lives in Drury lane?

                  Oh, yes, you know the muffin man,
                 The muffin man, the muffin man,
                 Oh, yes, you know the muffin man,
                 Who lives in Drury lane.

 Następnie dzieci i chórek opuszczają scenę.

                                                   SCENE II

Na scenę wbiegają wiedźmy na miotłach, śmiejąc się.


WITCH 1- We are going to have a good fun today.
WITCH 2-  Oh, yes. Maybe we’ll take a cute child and hide him somewhere?
WITCH 3-  That’s a good idea! Let’s arrange a party for them.

Mówiąc to wiedźma 3 wrzuca jabłka do pojemnika z wodą.



Na scenę wbiegają z powrotem dzieci.

STUDENT 1- Haven’t you seen that before?
STUDENTs- No, we haven’t. What’s this?
STUDENT 2- Let me see. (podnosząc jabko z wody).
STUDENT 3- I know, we’ll play the game!

Na scenę wbiega czarodziej, mówiąc:

WIZARD- Hello!
STUDENTs- Hello!
WIZARD- Do you want to play a game ‘bobbing for apples’?
STUDENTs- Yes, hurray a game!
WIZARD- Come closer my dear kids. I have a reward for this kid who is the first to catch an apple with his teeth!
STUDENTs- Oh,great!

Dzieci wyciągają jabłka z wody jednocześnie oblewając się. Przepychają się, gra muzyka.
W tym czasie przychodzi niezauważalnie wiedźma 1 i zabiera dziewczynkę. Muzyka gra nadal.

WIZARD- The winner is ....................... . ( podaje zwycięzcę).

STUDENT 3- Where’s Yoyce?

Dzieci rozglądają się, wołając: Yoyce, Yoyce, Where are you?

STUDENT 4- Gosh! Where is she? Let’s look for her right now!
STUDENT 2- Maybe she is behind the flower?
Dzieci szukają koleżanki.
STUDENT 1- No, she isn’t there.

Dzwoni telefon.

YOYCE’S MOTHER- Hello! Joyce’s mother is speaking. Is she with you?
 STUDENT1- (zwracając się do wszystkich dzieci).
Goodness sake! Yoyce’s mother. Let’s say we don’t know anything about her.
Do telefonu:
No, we thought she’d gone home without saying goodbye to us.

YOYCE’S MOTHER- I’m going to call Police then. Bye!

STUDENT1- Bye!

STUDENT1-Zwracając się do wszystkich. Let’s look for her once again.

Dzieci opuszczają scenę.


                                               SCENE III
Na scenę wracają wiedźmy.

WITCH I- What a great fun we have! Let’s bring back this stupid girl!
WITCH 2- Oh, let’s do it.
WITCH 3- We don’t want to have any trouble with her any more!

Na scenę wraca Yoyce.

YOYCE- What happened? I don’t know where I am. What am I doing here in the school library reading ‘Harry Potter’?

Na scenę wbiegają dzieci krzycząc:

STUDENTs- Our lovely YOYCE!!!

Dzieci mówią wierszyk, pokazując na Yoyce razem:
(script - You English ABC- part III p. 88)


            There was a girl,
              Who had a little curl,
                 Right in the middle of her forehead,
                   And when she was good,
                      She was very, very good,
                        But when she was bad, she was horrid.
                 

STUDENT1- Where have you been?
YOYCE- I don’t know how I found myself in that library?
STUDENTs- Nor, do we.
STUDENT 2- Let’s go home now, Your mother is so worried about you.
